Assassins Creed

This is the first Assassins Creed game. It is set in the 1100's around the time of the Third Crusade. The main character Altair is set out on one of the most important missions he has ever done but then it all goes wrong and costs the life of a fellow assassin, an assassins arm and the treasure they set out to find. Altair is then demoted from master Assassin to the lowest rank in the assassin order. Altair is then told that if he takes the lives of nine men then he will then be restored to his original rank.
There are three cities in this game and 3 targets in each city. Each target must be done in a certain order. Before each assassination you must do at at least two investigations in the first few assassinations the at least three investigations for the rest. There are also secondary missions which are optional-
There is an official guide out for this game which is good and gives you in depth advice on all missions and secondary missions for £12.99. I would recomend buying this game.

This game is pretty good. Alot Better than the previous Assassins Creed game. It is set a couple of centurys later in Italy and you are playing a character called Ezio. This game has more of a story to it and more capabilities but the story is a bit hard to follow.
For example in this game you can collect money and steal money from people. You also get to help run a small villa. You still get all the same weapons such as the hidden blade and the throwing knives.
The weapons have been upgraded. You now get the double hidden blade and you get the poison blade. This allows you to poison an enemy. Once the enemy has been poisoned they go a bit mad for a few seconds and then die. This is good for stealth assassinations because when you stab them they don't notice and nobody around you notices. Another new weapon is the smoke bombs. These are good if you are running low on health and need to make a quick escape. When you throw the smoke bomb it tempoaraly blinds you ememies allowing you to escape. Or you could use the time to stab each enemy with the hidden blade. Another addition is the hidden blade can function as a gun. Out tiny bullets that kill an enemy instantly. You also meet Leonardo DaVincy who helps you throughout the game. If you are playing this game on a PC then it would be a good idea to buy an xbox 360 controller for your computer as it would make the controls alot easier.
There is also an official guide out for the game which gives step by step instructions for £12.99. Overall i think this is a very good game.

Little Big Planet

In Little Big Planet you are playing a character called Sackboy. You can create and puplish your own levels and play other peoples which is what makes this game so good. The problem is before you can make any levels you need to do all the tutorials which takes up hours of you time and you need to play the story mode which is quite boring to unlock extra stuff. also the game litches quite a lot and sometimes you have to start everything all over again but this happens very rarly. if you do buy this game then i recomend you back the game saved data on to a memory stick cause my ps3 broke down and i had to do all the tutorials again and it was quite boring. Another problem is that you have to pay for any add-ons for the game. If oyou want to put water in your level then you have to buy the Pirates of the Carribean pack for £4.95. If you want a paintball gun then you have to buy the Metal Gear Solid pack also for £4.95. And any extra costumes, stickers and music packs also cost. They do sometimes give you some things for free.
This game would be kind of pointless if you dont have online because the only levels you would be able to play are the ones you make and the story mode. you wouldnt be able to download any extra content. Overall it is a very good game. Worth buying.

Lost Planet: Extreme Condition

In Lost Planet: Extreme Condition you play a character called Wayne. The game is about a planet called EDN III which was colonised by humans but then alien inhabitants called the Akrid. Because of the Akrid the humans are forced to abandon the new planet. Then 80 years later a small group of humans return to the planet to try and colonise it. Wayne and his father are one of them. But then his father gets killed.
This is a 3rd person shooter game. The story mode is ok but a bit confusing because this game was originaly realesed in Japan but when they were going to realese it in the UK and US then needed to translate it and probably had probels with the dialog. it also has an online mode which is 10 times better than story mode. There is ranked and unraked. Both have the same match types. Team Elimination, Elemination, Post Grab and Fugitive. And there is a wide variety of maps and weapons. Each match can have up to 16 people. But cause of bad connections some people loose connection at the start and can end up with only 12 or 13 people at the end of a game.
All in all this is a very good game.

Need for Speed Shift

Need for Speed Shift is a racing game where you get to race heaps of differant cars around heaps of differant tracks. You can work your way through the career mode of quick race mode while trying to incrase you driver profile. There is also an online mode. The only probelm is there are no Ferraris in the game.
This is a very good game. If you are interested in racing games then this is the game for you.
